“Word Mark Logos” are essentially text logos. These logos spell out the business or company name and may also incorporate 1 or 2 initials of the business or company name. Typically ”Word Mark Logos” utilize a rare, unique or unusual font to minimize the risk of being copied or associated with other businesses. It is also common for the fonts used in these types of logos to be altered or exaggerated, adding a special and unique touch as well. Below are just a few examples of “Word Mark” logos which we have created for our clients.
As just a side note, the top two Word Mark logos were designed for sister companies with the same owner. Sharkey Graphic Solutions enjoyed the pleasure of working closely with this client to achieve a perfect balance between each of their two logos.
